By entering the province of Nova Scotia, it is possible to head to the Bay of Fundy \/ Annapolis Valley area via Road 236 to Burntcoat Head Park at Noel. It is important to mention that the highway in Nova Scotia is rather central and, in general, you have to take the small country roads to be able to locate the tourist attractions which are very well indicated from the highway. A splendid attraction of Nova Scotia is definitely the Bay of Fundy. At approximately every 6 hours 13 minutes, there are 100 cubic kilometers of water entering and leaving the Bay of Fundy. The elevation is really impressive to see and the walk to the bottom of the sea is beautiful. To fully enjoy it, find out about the tides before your visit. I definitely recommend you a stop at the Burntcoat Head Park.<\/p>\n

In 1975, the Guinness Book of Records recognized that this park had the highest amplitude in the world of whitewater tide. When you arrive at Burncoat Head Park at high tide, you will not see the spectacular scenery right away. Bring a lunch and be patient! I assure you it’s worth the trip! Take the opportunity to visit the interpretation center with its very welcoming staff. On arrival, we really do not know what lies ahead:<\/p>\n

If you wish to enjoy a gastronomic dinner on the ocean floor to taste local products, it is possible to make a reservation in advance (see the link above). Although the price is quite high, it is an experience to try once in a lifetime. Reservations seem unfortunately complete for 2018 but be on the lookout for 2019.
